INTERNET SERVICES

Users have a workspace available with 10 megabytes of permanent storage available. More space is available at a nominal rate. Note that most access will not require any storage space at all; data can be brought from the net directly to your computer with no need for intermediate storage on fsj.net.

Service types:

Our 6 levels of access all include an email address and the option of setting up a WWW homepage.

Basic - Access is $19.95 for first 50 hours of connect time per month. Additional time will be billed at $.50/hour. Provides the user with a PPP connection, which allows the user to run popular client software such as Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer locally on their PC or Mac and connects their machine directly to the Internet through fsj.net! Some client software is available in MS-Windows, WIN98, or Macintosh format from fsj.net. The software is shareware, which means that it is freely distributable, but it is up to the user to pay any registration costs that may be associated with it.

Standard - All of the services of the above Basic account, only priced at $24.95 for 100 hours of connect time per month. Additional time will be billed at $.50/hour. This is our most used account.

Executive - All of the services of the above Basic Account, only priced at $29.95 for 150 hours of connect time per month. Additional time will be billed at $.50 hour.

Extended - All of the services of the above Basic Account, only priced at $34.95 for 200 hours of connect time per month. Additional time will be billed at $.50/hour.

Dedicated Personal Access - This provides the user with their own PPP account, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The user has a private phone line into fsj.net, so there's never a busy signal! A single-host IP address is provided, and a Domain Name can be arranged if desired. This service starts at $199/month, and there is a $300 startup charge for this service.

Dedicated Network Access - This access is perfect for the small business that would like to have a presence on the Internet. The user can connect multiple hosts on their network to the Internet through a dedicated PPP connection. This level of access starts at $250/month, and there is a $350 startup charge for this service.

Domain Name Registration - This service allows people to send you email at fsj.net, but with an address like you@yourcompany.com. It allows you to locate your web page at http://www.yourcompany.com. There is a one-time $100 setup fee for this service, and up to US$35 annual maintenance fee after 2 years.

Standard WWW Homepage Services - Our Standard accounts allow users to publish a homepage on the Internet! Users automatically have 5 megabyte of system disk space available for WWW publishing or file storage. A one-time nominal setup fee of $50 is required for homepage setup and maintenance. There is no extra monthly fee to have a homepage on fsj.net! The standard home page service allows users to use registered domain names, but the URL for the page must include a trailing path (e.g. http://www.fsj.net/~citpat instead of http://www.chet94fm.com). Failure to include a path in the URL leads web browsers to the fsj.net homepage.

Virtual Web Server - This premium "multi-homed" service allows the user's homepage to give the appearance of an independent server. No trailing path is required, and an IP address is permanently assigned to the virtual web server. This service costs an additional $50/month above the cost of a Standard (or better) user access account. Web owners have full control over, and instant access to, their HTML files.

Virtual E-mail Addresses - This service lets users permit trusted associates to share their PPP login while still maintaining separate electronic mailboxes. By comparison, standard email aliases send all aliased mail to a single mailbox. This service costs an additional $10/month per V-Mail account.

fsj.net Local Disk Space - Store files for access by yourself or others, or set up your own WWW home page on fsj.net! Additional disk space is available in 10 megabyte increments for $10/month.

High-speed Dedicated Service - fsj.net offers connections to the net at as high a speed as you care to go! We can handle 56KB dedicated lines, fractional or full T-1 connections.
